I recently bought these switches and was impressed by the sound — very satisfying and smooth. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, the switches don’t lock firmly onto the board. Every time I remove a keycap, the switch comes off along with it, which can be frustrating.
Second, since the switch housing is red, the RGB lighting gets distorted. I usually prefer using white light, but with these switches, it creates an unpleasant red hue. It’s distracting enough that I’ve had to turn off the RGB completely.
If the mounting and housing color were improved, these switches could easily be one of the best options out there.
