Introducing Slate Zero.

Slate Zero is a symmetrical 60% keyboard shaped by the measured restraint of early computing. Every element is considered through the lens of zero excess, zero distraction, and a return to essential form. The result is a primitive rectangular form that feels calm, balanced, and clear, grounded by a true zero-degree typing angle both visually and in use.

Balanced by design.

Slate Zero carries a sense of order that feels immediate. The symmetry of the 60% layout, paired with clean geometry and measured proportions, gives the keyboard a composed presence on the desk. It feels visually settled rather than demanding, with a clarity that becomes more apparent the longer you live with it.

Less, with purpose.

The edge of the board is drawn inward, a quiet detail that guides attention towards the centre. It is a small inversion, subtle and deliberate. Change does not need to be bold. It can be calm, measured and intentional.

The board sits level on a desk at a true zero degree typing angle, keeping your hands in a natural, grounded position. For moments when a slight incline feels right, a five degree riser is available separately, giving you the option to adjust without disturbing the clarity of the overall design.

Quiet flexibility, built in.

The internal structure uses a PCB mount on a silicone gasket, isolating the subassembly from the aluminium case. The rear features a selector switch for Mac and Windows compatibility, USB-C connectivity for a reliable wired connection, and a coated copper cover for protection.

Solder PCB Policy

Please test the board before assembly.

Record a continuous video of a tweezer test showing every key registering on screen. If a defect exists, stop and contact support with the footage.

This helps ensure your hardware is perfect before the assembly starts.

Our warranty covers manufacturing faults found before the board is altered. Once soldering has started, we are unable to offer a replacement.
