Working closely with our manufacturing partners, we have translated our MUTE mounting platform (found in the KARA, M60-B, M65-B and U80-B) into an MX switch.
The implementation acts as an elastic medium between the top and bottom housing, thereby creating tighter tolerances. This will allow the switch to have a deeper and consistent sound profile whilst eliminating the need for switch-films.

With focus on creating a distinct sound profile, we have opted for a Nylon bottom housing which will produce a deeper acoustic note when in tandem with the long pole POM stem. The MUTE mounting pads affixed to the top of the bottom housing further enhances this.
To enhance the smoothness of actuating a keypress, we have opted for polished stem rails to allow maximum downstroke glide.
TWO-STAGE SPRING ⚖️

Having assessed the market, we have decided to use a 62g spring weight as this would cater to most users and pair well with the two-staged spring to allow typists to make fewer mistakes and enjoy their typing experience.
